Round spas suit sociable households — the shape keeps everyone facing each other and shares space evenly. Luxury models sit at the top of the range with bigger capacity, more jets and refined finishes throughout.

Where is it going?
Your spa needs a level, firm base — concrete slab, rated decking, or pavers on a properly compacted foundation. Plan for clear access from the street, plus a suitable power supply within reach for a licensed electrician to connect.
Think about privacy and outlook from the spa. Most owners also love a covered area nearby for winter use — a pergola, eave or simple roof structure makes a real difference.

What about hydrotherapy?
Spas vary widely in how they feel — from gentle, relaxing pulses to powerful deep-tissue massage. Look at the number of jets, where they’re placed, and whether they’re individually adjustable.

How much will it cost to run?
Spa running costs depend on size, climate, usage and your electricity tariff. The biggest factor is how well the spa is insulated and how well the cover seals — both areas where we don’t cut corners.

Common buying questions
Should I buy more capacity than I need?
Most owners are happy buying for actual everyday use rather than the once-a-year big gathering. A 5–6 person spa fits most family households perfectly without the extra running cost of a larger model.
Lounger or all bucket seats?
A lounger gives the fullest body massage but takes up real estate — effectively a single seat. All-bucket-seat configurations maximise capacity. Think about who’ll use it most, and whether you want one premium spot for stretches.
How long should a quality spa last?
With proper care, a quality Australian-made spa can last 15–20 years or more. The shell and structure last the longest — we cover the shell for up to 7 years, pumps and electrics for 5 years, and the cabinet for 1 year under manufacturer warranty.
What’s the best way to compare spas?
Don’t just compare price — look at the materials, manufacturing location, jet count and placement, insulation rating, and warranty terms. Cheap imports often look similar on paper but cost more to run and replace.
